2. User Responsibilities

By using CredLedger, you agree to:

• Keep your 4-digit PIN secure
• Protect your device and backup files from unauthorized access
• Use the application only for lawful purposes
• Maintain responsibility for your own financial records and decisions

You are solely responsible for any activity performed using your device or login credentials.

3. Account Security

CredLedger provides security features such as:

• 4-Digit PIN protection
• Biometric authentication (if supported by the device)
• Device security verification for PIN recovery

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and device security.

CredLedger does not store your device password, fingerprint, or face data.

4. Offline Data Storage

CredLedger is designed to operate primarily offline.

• Your financial data is stored locally on your device
• We do not provide automatic cloud backup or online syncing
• You are responsible for managing your backups and exported files

Loss of device data due to deletion, device damage, reset, or user action is the user’s responsibility.

5. Backup and Restore

The app may allow manual backup and restore features.

Users are responsible for:

• Safely storing backup files
• Protecting exported data
• Verifying backups before deleting original records

CredLedger is not responsible for lost, corrupted, or improperly shared backup files.

6. Advertisements

CredLedger may display advertisements through third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.

These ads help support app development and maintenance.

Third-party advertising providers may collect limited technical and device-related information according to their own privacy policies.

CredLedger may rely on services provided by:

Use of these services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

CredLedger is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CredLedger shall not be liable for:

• Backup failures

Users are encouraged to maintain secure backups and device protection.

9. Intellectual Property
